Mission Statement

Strengthening and Modernizing Northern Ontario Through Technology, Innovation, and Community‑Driven Public‑Good Services.

Who We Are

The Maple Crunch Centre for Canadian Culinary Innovation (MCCCI) is a federally incorporated not‑for‑profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable food systems, Indigenous partnership, and community modernization across Northern Ontario and beyond. We provide free public‑good consulting services to farmers, Indigenous communities, municipalities, and social‑impact organizations — helping them adopt technology, improve operations, and build long‑term resilience.

Government & Community Partnerships

MCCCI was incorporated in December 2025 under the Canada Not‑for‑profit Corporations Act. We are actively building partnerships with government agencies, Indigenous governments, municipalities, and community organizations to align with national priorities in food security, climate resilience, and economic development. We welcome collaboration with funders, policymakers, and public‑sector leaders who share our mission to strengthen underserved communities through innovation and modernization.

How We Measure Success

  • Reviving indebted farms and restoring fertile lands
  • Increasing food access in remote and Indigenous communities
  • Reducing food waste through waste‑to‑value innovation
  • Supporting technology adoption and operational efficiency
  • Strengthening climate resilience and supply chain stability
  • Empowering youth and building local workforce capacity
